NIGHTSHADOWS
Nightshadows, explores the interplay of ecology and technology, capturing plant life illuminated by artificial light. For over a decade, I’ve photographed these "plant portraits" during twilight when the cold, blue light lends a cinematic and mysterious quality. These intimate images highlight the unique character of each plant—some nurtured by humans, others defying the odds in unexpected places—emphasising their resilience and the coexistence of nature with the urban world.

BOTANIC GLITCH
During lockdowns, I began experimenting with a high-resolution scanner to photograph plants and flowers. By moving and dragging them as light traveled down the scanner bed, I created images with rainbow glitches, surreal crooked stems, and disjointed compositions. The results evoke antique botanical illustrations but with a digital twist, blending the traditional with the modern in a way that feels both nostalgic and unsettling.
